Dave and I worked for the first time at Sheila&Nathan's wedding in the summer of 2008. Thanks to Dave, I met several wonderful couples through him. It was nice working with him on Sheila & Jason's wedding on August 23rd at Carlyle on the Green ( I'm not ready for posting their wedding yet.) I am about to work with him again this weekend at Studio 450 in Manhattan. Looking forward to it.

New York Magazine wrote about Styles On B: Hairstylist Stacy Pitt started her career assisting in Beverly Hills before heading home to the East Coast and setting up shop in her charming East Village apartment in 2004. Early customers received highlights, extensions, and cuts in Pitt’s eat-in kitchen, facing a mirror that reflected the tattooed stylist and a sink area cluttered with curling irons and shampoo. Her clientele steadily expanded through word- of-mouth recommendations, and in 2009 she opened this small salon around the corner. The spot’s intimate atmosphere mimics her original laid-back, just-doin’-a-friend’s-hair-in-my-kitchen vibe. She utilizes a dry-cutting technique—which she claims allows her to work with the natural texture of hair, especially for curly types—and specializes in vintage-inspired looks like Veronica Lake waves and pinup-girl styles. Liz and Stephen invited me to come to Boston to document their wedding. I used to live in Boston to go to Museum School. It was nice to visit the city :)
Their wedding was full of stylish R&R/rockabilly flavor. The theme pattern/color of their wedding was leopard and red. Motown band played at the reception was amazing! The soundtrack they chose included Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Sam Cooks, The Pogues, Polyphonic Spree and so many other good music! Here's a clip of Stephen's Irish dad talking Celtic to our camera. He is quite a character.
